About SportsMag

SportsMag is Maistral's basketball magazine. It covers European national leagues game by game: Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Greece.

How a report is made

• Every report starts from the official box score and play-by-play of the game (FIBA LiveStats and the leagues' own data).
• The text is drafted with AI (Claude, by Anthropic) from those facts only. It is written, not translated, in English and in the language of the teams that played.
• Before it is published, every text is checked against the box score for the score and for players' points, rebounds and assists, and an editor reads and publishes it.
• Below each report are the numbers it comes from: the MVP, both clubs' leaders, the shot chart, shots by zone and both box scores.

Weekly previews

Each week the editors pick the games worth watching, helped by an interest score from the table, the teams' form, derbies and how their last meetings ended.
